Honda CRX del Sol Midrangespeakers

The frontsystem Due to the lack of place for kick panels it was decided to make doorboards.
Door panel I started with medium density fibreboard (MDF) and fixed a wooden frame on the MDF.
Door panel Surfacer was used to optaine a smooth surface between the door panel and MDF.
Panel coloring The mounting area for the speaker (Andrian Audio 13 cm) was painted red, the same colour as the car.
Finsh the door panel The door trim is coated with black synthetic leather to match the passenger compartment.
Termination of speaker cables The speakers are connected with gold plated connectors and an additional tube to prevent the terminals from corrosing.
Speaker install Finaly the speaker - an Andrian Audio A130 - was installed. For accoustic reasons, I am using only one speaker at the moment.
Protection of speakers A new grill following the installation theme was prepared.
Protection of speakers Each side is made of two wooden frames.
Protection of speakers The speakers are protected now and the installation matches the installation theme.
