Alpine DVA 7996

This is my Alpine DVA 7996. I chose this model because it can play DVD's, MP3 and as an optical out for audio signal.		 Honda CRX del Sol: Alpine DVA 7996 (306)

Install source unit

Because of the volume knob, it was not possible to close the flap, therefore the mounting panel was adopted.		 Honda CRX del Sol: Install source unit (193)

Mounting panel

The mounting panel was adapted with fibreglass to fix the source unit. One can see the screws fixing the headunit to the car.		 Honda CRX del Sol: Mounting panel (194)

Source unit properly fused

New wires (10 mm2) were installed directly from the battery. The fuse of the source unit was replaced and a fuse holder was installed in the engine compartment.		 Honda CRX del Sol: Source unit properly fused (204)
