Honda FRV - EDIX - Double DIN frame

Once a month I get an email asking, where to get the the double DIN frame for the Honda FRV like I used in my installation.

After a long search in www I found following solutions:

nice bezle, isn't it? And it comes directly from Honda as OEM spare part. Unfortunatly the upper color does not fit perfectly for my FRV. It's more grey than black .

Mounting kitt for the double DIN frame Honda FRV EDIX

This Mounting kitt holds your after market head unit. Don't forget to buy it. It will cost additionally EUR 30,-- but mounting the head unit without it is not feasable.

Currently I don't have information about the part numbers for the wood decor or the newer FRV's with carbon design. May be it works if you play around with the last two digits of the part number. If you were successfull, please be so kind and share the information

On a website I found the information that the black metallic colour code might be NH587L. For my beezle I used NH592P which is pretty close the the OEM color.

How to order the double DIN bezle

If you have already asked your local Honda Dealer - try it again. It's seems that the Honda dealers in Europe can not find the part numbers in the EPC (electronic parts catalog), not on DVD nor on web. But if you tell the numbers, they can manually insert them into their order system. This works for shure in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The order will be done on your risk, you can not return parts if they don't fit. And - don't make me responsible if any information on that site is wrong ;-)
